When I was little my sister and I snuck into my mom’s bathroom while she was doing yard work. We immediately went for the highly coveted nail polish bin. Well into our painting sesh, one of us (I can’t remember who, probably my sister) knocked over an open bottle of polish and it spilled all over the tile floor. Panicked, we whisper-yelled at each other to quickly wipe it up. Unknown to us, the window to the yard was open and an all too familiar voice yelled through, “I CAN HEAR YOU!”
The original artwork was made with ink, conté crayon, gouache, and colored pencil on Arches hot press paper.
